Crookham Court School, in Berkshire, shut down in 1989, after a 1988 BBC That’s Life programme investigation revealed that teachers were molesting teenage boys.
The building lay empty and neglected for years, but was converted into luxury housing in 2017 and has now been renamed to Pinchington Hall. It has apartments to let, is used for Air B & B and and is licensed for weddings, parties, music events and outdoor film screenings.
