In 2012 I carved my first pumpkin face, and I haven’t looked back since. Every year I look forward to autumn, because it means that in September I will be able to start carving the first pumpkins of the year.
Pumpkin Carving Lessons, Corfe Castle
In October 2019 I will be teaching pumpkin carving, for two days at Corfe Castle village. I’ll be announcing the date, cost and exact location soon.
I will show you how to carve a basic pumpkin face, and provide the pumpkins and the tools. You just need to bring enthusiasm and your lunch with you. 🙂
Sorry, but the lessons will only be for adults, as sharp instruments, craft knives etc. and children don’t go well together!
I’m running the classes in conjunction with local stone carver Jonathan Sells, who will be running Halloween themed stone carving lessons on both days.
Below you can see a few of the pumpkins and gourds I’ve carved over the last few years.
