At the time of my photograph, in 2013, the fish shop was owned and run by brothers Eddie and Derek Christopher. July 2022 – it is now under new management.

In 2013, Parkstone Fisheries had been open for approximately sixteen years and sold nearly every kind of fish imaginable, including Scottish Salmon, Mackerel, Hake, Bass, squid, fish cakes, smoked fish, shellfish, sardines, Cornish Lemon Sole, Cornish Monk Fish, Red Mullet, Scallops, Halibut, Smoked Haddock and spicy crab fishcakes.  Also Poole Bay crab pate and fresh Poole Bay dressed crabs, as well as fish pies, and frozen fish products.
