Tonight, Corfe Castle was lit up in purple (well, more a mauvish/pink actually) for the ‘Purple Lights for Pancreatic Cancer Campaign’. The National Trust organised the event after a Purbeck resident, Lynn Nelson, lost her 58-year old husband to the disease.

Corfe Castle is one of hundreds of UK landmarks which will be illuminated for the last weekend of November in support of the Campaign.
