about me

I live in Poole and am a web designer by trade (yes, I did build this site!), but also a keen photographer. Capturing people, their expression and personality is my preference, closely followed by atmospheric landscape scenery - in particular Poole Harbour, which so often has magnificent sunsets.

what else?

I was educated at Bournemouth & Poole College of Art & Design (now the Arts University College at Bournemouth) some few years ago. Following that I spent many years 'office bound', working in marketing and office management. My career changed in 1998 when I trained in web design and went on to work for a web design company, prior to setting up my own.

My interest in photography has really taken off in the last 3-5 years, having taken to stalking friends and strangers alike, and chasing sunsets!

November 2011 - I received a "Commended" award for a photograph entered into THE PEACOCK GALLERY OPEN EXHIBITION 2011, Upton House, Upton, Poole, Dorset. The exhibition runs from 26th November 2011 until 9th January 2012.

July 2011 - My work will be on display at 'Aperture Four (2011)', a photography exhibition at The Peacock Gallery, Upton House, Upton, Poole, Dorset. The exhibition runs from 21st July - 1st August.

November 2009 - The photograph of the sun setting over Poole Harbour, below, is on display in an exhibition at The Town Mill Gallery in Lyme Regis. This photograph won 1st Prize.
